Services to the community

I serve on the EDI committees of both the British Veterinary Association and the British Equine Veterinary Association, where I champion initiatives that are reshaping the culture of the veterinary profession to be more inclusive, diverse and equitable and collaborate with colleagues across the profession to design and deliver impactful initiatives that drive meaningful change across the sector.

I am a member of the British Veterinary Chronic Illness Support (BVCIS) Steering Group. BVCIS supports veterinary professionals living and working with chronic illness, disability, and neurodivergence. Our mission is to provide mutual support, foster understanding of chronic health conditions in the workplace, and advocate for greater inclusivity across the profession.

I was extremely proud to serve as a Vetlife Trustee for two terms, from 2020 to 2025, helping to guide the charity’s strategy and deliver award-winning campaigns that made a real difference to the wellbeing of the veterinary community.
